About ITCS Global

Canadian arm of UK managed IT services provider

Full Description

About us
ITCS Global (CA) is the Canadian arm of ITCS Global, a UK managed IT services provider supporting small and mid-sized businesses since 2005. We are opening our Dartmouth office this autumn and hiring our first team member in Canada: someone who wants to be in at the start and grow with the business as it expands.

The role
You will be the first point of contact for our clients on both sides of the Atlantic, supporting our growing Nova Scotia client base and our established UK clients. Your working day overlaps with the UK afternoon, so you will work alongside our UK engineers from day one. You will initially run the Dartmouth office with remote backup from the UK team, and then work alongside our Managing Director when he relocates in early 2027.

What you'll be doing

  • Responding to support tickets, calls and emails, and resolving Level 1 issues: Microsoft 365 and Outlook, user accounts and passwords, printers, VPN and remote access, basic network and connectivity faults
  • Diagnosing hardware faults, then setting up and deploying laptops, desktops and peripherals for new and existing clients
  • Visiting client sites around HRM when something needs hands-on attention
  • Keeping clear notes in our ticketing system and escalating anything beyond Level 1
  • Helping build our local presence: visiting businesses around Dartmouth and Halifax in person, dropping off our marketing material and introducing the company

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years in IT support or help desk, or a relevant diploma with some hands-on experience
  • Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
  • Basic networking: LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and DNS troubleshooting
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own day
  • Able to explain technical problems and fixes clearly to people who aren't technical, in person and on the phone
  • Valid Nova Scotia driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle, insured for business use
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to have

  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications or similar
  • MSP experience
  • Some macOS and Linux support
  • Exposure to RMM/PSA tools, Entra ID / Active Directory, basic security practices

What we offer

  • $42,000-$48,000 depending on experience
  • 3 weeks' paid vacation, plus statutory holidays, Boxing Day, Victoria Day, Thanksgiving and Natal Day
  • Health and dental benefits after probation
  • Mileage paid at the CRA rate for all work travel between the office and client sites
  • The chance to help build a new office from the ground up, with progression as the team grows

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (1-hour lunch)
Start date: mid-November 2026

To apply, send your CV and a few lines on why the role appeals to you.

Pay: $42,000.00-$48,000.00 per year

Benefits:
