Social Media & Video Content Intern

Job Summary

SEYUNE (operated by Jishang International Ltd.) is a Toronto-based online beauty store curating Korean and Japanese skincare, makeup and haircare, shipping across Canada and the US. We're a small, fast-moving team building a beauty brand from the ground up, and we're looking for a paid Social Media & Video Content Intern who loves making short-form videos and isn't shy on camera. You'll have real ownership of our TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts content, and a path to a longer-term role for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit short-form vertical videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)

• Appear on camera: product comparisons, routines and "how to choose" guides

• Write hooks and captions that grab attention in the first second

• Research beauty trends and turn them into video ideas that fit our brand

• Post content and reply to comments across our social accounts

• Help with product photos and occasional in-person shoots in North York

Experience

• Student or recent grad in media, film, marketing, communications or a related field

• A portfolio of short-form videos you shot and/or edited yourself (required, please include a link)

• Comfortable appearing on camera

• Fluent English; Mandarin is a plus

• Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar)

• Genuine interest in Korean and Japanese beauty

• Nice to have: your own beauty or lifestyle content account

Details

• Paid internship: $18–20/hour, 15–20 hours per week, flexible schedule

• Hybrid: edit remotely, shoot in North York as needed

• Shortlisted applicants will complete a short paid test (2 videos)

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
