Full Description
Overview
Do you have a passion for Generative AI and digital systems? Are you a self-taught creator who loves building workflows with new technology? This technical internship is for you.
About the Role: Building the AI Video Pipeline
We are looking for a technically-inclined individual to join CoupleRef to help us build and optimize our AI Video Production Pipeline. In this role, you won't just be making content; you will be acting as a Systems Specialist, testing various AI models and documenting the technical workflows that allow us to turn evidence-based psychology into real-time visual tools.
Note: While this is a technical role, we value self-taught proficiency and a "hacker" mindset over a specific degree. If you have spent hundreds of hours mastering AI prompting and video editing tools on your own, we want to hear from you. Full training on our specific internal AI stack will be provided.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Workflow Automation: Design and test repeatable "pipelines" that move a project from a text script to a finished AI-generated video.
- Prompt Engineering & Model Testing: Experiment with various generative models (Grok, Runway, Luma, etc.) to determine which technical settings produce the highest-quality, most consistent results.
- Asset Systems Management: Organize and maintain a technical library of AI-generated assets, ensuring correct resolutions, frame rates, and file structures.
- Iterative Optimization: Document the "logic" behind successful AI generations so the process can be scaled and automated across the team.
- Technical Editing: Use advanced features in CapCut and Canva to integrate AI video, synthesized voiceovers, and dynamic text overlays into a polished final product.
Who You Are:
- Digitally Fluent: You are an "early adopter" of new software. You enjoy figuring out how different apps can talk to each other to save time.
- Self-Trained Creator: You have a portfolio that proves your technical ability in video editing and AI generation, regardless of what you studied in school.
- Systematic Thinker: You don't just want to make one video; you want to figure out the process to make 100 videos efficiently.
- Detail Oriented: You have a sharp eye for "AI jank" and know how to use technical tools to clean up and polish raw AI output.
Eligibility (Government of Canada Funded):
- Must be currently enrolled (full-time or part-time) in a Canadian post-secondary institution.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Montréal, QC H3H 2L3
