Warrior Engineering is a Northern Ontario–based, multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm headquartered in Thunder Bay . We provide civil, environmental, geotechnical, and specialty engineering services to clients across Northwestern Ontario, with a strong focus on community-driven, resource, and infrastructure projects .
We work closely with Indigenous communities, municipalities, and private-sector clients to deliver practical, buildable solutions that reflect local context, regulatory requirements, and long-term sustainability. About the Opportunity
We are building a candidate pool of Civil / Environmental Engineers-in-Training (EITs) for current and upcoming work in Thunder Bay and across Northwestern Ontario.
This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers who want broad exposure across civil and environmental engineering , rather than being siloed into a single discipline. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience across site development, water and wastewater, environmental monitoring, permitting, geotechnical interfaces, and construction support.
What You’ll Be Involved In
- Support civil and environmental design and analysis under the supervision of licensed engineers
- Assist with site development, grading, drainage, and servicing works
- Support environmental programs including monitoring, reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in field work, site inspections, and data collection
- Contribute to technical memos, drawings, calculations, and cost estimates
- Assist with permitting, approvals, and coordination with regulators and Indigenous communities
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and Project Managers
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Registered or eligible for registration as an EIT in Ontario
- Located in Thunder Bay
- Interest in gaining experience across a wide range of civil and environmental work
- Comfortable with field work and working in northern or remote environments
- We value self-starters — people who bring ideas to the table, take initiative, and want to help shape how we work.
