Full Description

As a Co-op Field Marketing Coordinator (FMC), you will be part of a dedicated team based in the GTA and reporting directly to the Assistant Marketing Manager . We’re looking for a FMC to execute PEAK’s Cross Canada Tour event program with excellence. This role is all about flawless delivery, ensuring every event runs smoothly, reinforces our brand, and supports our go-to-market priorities.

You’ll play a critical role in turning strategy into execution during the key selling period of May-August, from pre-event planning to onsite coordination and post-event follow-up. You’ll manage logistics end-to-end, collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing functions, and help bring to life the in-person experiences that create and accelerate brand awareness and drive sales.

This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on role that’s ideal for someone who takes pride in operational excellence and loves bringing ideas to life through live experiences that move the revenue needle. The FMC is a dedicated field sales and marketing support representative with responsibility for Home Depot, Canada’s largest big box home improvement. As an FMC, you must be a highly motivated, customer focused, hands-on individual that thrives in a fast-paced service environment. Possessing strong interpersonal and execution skills you will implement various Sales and Marketing programs in Home Depot while managing your time effectively. You will be working Tuesday-Saturday in designated Home Depot stores. You will need to have your own car, you will be reimbursed for mileage and receive a per diem for meals each day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Local contact for Home Depot stores assigned for the Cross Canada Tour
  • Conduct in-store events and demos with retail employees and end users
  • Execute retail events & new product launches
  • Flawlessly execute category work plans for all assigned brands and product categories (i.e. PEAK, Vigoro, Everbilt)
  • Achieve weekly and quarterly call cycle goals
  • Develop relationships within store personnel
  • Work effectively with your manager to review execution and post-event metrics
  • Complete all communication requirements for execution and post-event metrics timely and effectively
  • Working with retail stores to find new and creative ways to merchandise and increase sales
  • Become the liaison between retail stores and internal sales/marketing team
  • Ensure merchandising standards are met in store to maintain strong brand presence
  • Work with key in-store personnel to promote and expand brand exposure
  • Track event performance, create feedback loops, and support continuous optimisation of our event programs.
  • Partner closely with the Assistant Marketing Manager on audience targeting, attendee capture, meeting coordination, and post-event follow-up workflows.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in a College or University degree or diploma program, preferably in Marketing, Business, or another relevant area of study
  • Preferably completed at least one co-op term
  • Willingness to travel locally. May require overnight travel (accommodations will be reimbursed where applicable)
  • Experience with event planning, product demonstration, new product launches
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs
  • Access to own vehicle, required (mileage will be reimbursed where applicable)
  • Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday, required
