We’re currently looking to welcome a CPA Student to our Russell office!

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform compilation and review engagements for various business entities, including financial statement preparation.
• Conduct audits for small and medium-sized not-for-profit organizations.
• Participate in municipal audits, gather required information, and assist the audit supervisor/manager.
• Prepare financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage general ledgers, journal entries, and trial balances.
• Prepare and file GST/PST returns and T2 corporate tax returns for clients.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide support.

Who we’re looking for:

• Someone who is currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a CPA program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an accounting, public practice is preferred.
• Brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A detail-oriented person with strong organizational skills.
• A team player attitude with a desire to support others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A person with integrity and strong ethics that can be trusted with confidential financial information.
