Weβre currently looking to welcome a CPA Student to our Russell office!
What youβll be doing:
- Perform compilation and review engagements for various business entities, including financial statement preparation.
- Conduct audits for small and medium-sized not-for-profit organizations.
- Participate in municipal audits, gather required information, and assist the audit supervisor/manager.
- Prepare financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage general ledgers, journal entries, and trial balances.
- Prepare and file GST/PST returns and T2 corporate tax returns for clients.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide support.
Who weβre looking for:
- Someone who is currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a CPA program.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an accounting, public practice is preferred.
- Brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A detail-oriented person with strong organizational skills.
- A team player attitude with a desire to support others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A person with integrity and strong ethics that can be trusted with confidential financial information.
