Finance Intern (Summer)

We are looking for a Finance Intern to be part of an exciting growth-focused company. At Constellation HomeBuilder Systems, part of the Perseus Operating Group of Constellation Software Inc., you will be part of a team and culture that will allow you to thrive and contribute to the long-term success of the company. The Finance Intern will be reporting to the Director of Finance and working closely with the Finance team both onshore and offshore.

Details:

• Participate in a special project to streamline and automate current finance processes or financial reports with AI
• AR/Collections
• Daily cash receipt posting in GP (under review controls)
• Customer reminder emails and collection note updates
• Basic data preparation for AR meetings
• Business Operations
• License (invoice) audits in GP against Prolic dates
• Assist with contract processing and maintaining list
• Analyze trends, variances and key financial operating KPIs
• Assist with data validation, reconciliation and documentation
• Contribute to current initiatives, including standardization of metrics and reporting
• Ad hoc requests as required

Requirements:

The successful individual will have the following experience, education, and ability to develop these demonstrated skills:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field
• Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
• Interest in process standardization, improvements and financial analysis
• Exposure to AI, SQL, or analytics tools is an asset
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
