Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role for a Front-End Engineer Intern, based in Vancouver, BC with flexibility for remote work. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and testing user-facing web applications and features with a focus on responsive design and seamless user experience. Responsibilities include collaborating with the development team, debugging issues, optimizing applications for performance, and contributing to innovative improvements in front-end technology. The role offers hands-on experience in aiding the development of cutting-edge, AI-powered tools at GenPark.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design
  • Basic knowledge or experience in Back-End Web Development and Web Development
  • Understanding of general Software Development principles and practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus
  • Basic understanding of cross-browser compatibility and debugging
  • Enthusiastic about learning and working in a hybrid work environment
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
