Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role for a Frontend Intern based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, with some flexibility to work remotely. The Frontend Intern will assist in designing and implementing web-based user interfaces while collaborating with the design and backend teams. Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, testing and debugging UI components, and contributing to the development of seamless interactive experiences. The role also involves working with modern frontend technologies to support GenPark's AI-driven platform.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and communicate effectively
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and adapting to dynamic project requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience in UI/UX design or knowledge of design tools like Figma is a plus
