This is an excellent opportunity to learn about financial modelling and business analytics while working with Canada's largest IT consulting firm. You will work with CGI Consultants, Directors and Executives on a full range of business operations, program management and resourcing activities/tasks.

In an effort to foster collaboration and partner with clients, co-op students will be required to be in the office multiple times a week.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily data analysis and delivery of Business Operational Reports (Health Information Team, Resourcing, Business Development, Financial, Utilization, Communication).
  • Build and manipulate reports from raw data using advanced Excel (graphs, formulas, conditional formatting, etc.).
  • Assist with various projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain and follow-up on action items, issues, and status reporting.
  • Conduct business research and information management.
  • Project control and organization including governance, communication and issue management.
  • Create or assist in the creation of presentations.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, distribute agendas, manage logistics and run live meetings.
  • Work directly with VPs to develop strategy materials.
  • Develop financial models and perform data analysis to drive insights and conclusions.
  • Conduct industry research and summarize findings.
  • Coordinate workshops and meeting logistics.
  • Support account management activities.
  • Assist with client staffing requirements and technical profile evaluations.
  • Coordinate staffing interviews and collect client feedback.
  • Maintain reporting dashboards for client requirements and status tracking.
  • Support governance meetings and prepare documentation.
  • Maintain reports pertaining to members and accounts.
  • Support financial management activities including forecasting, revenue recognition, billing, and receivables.
  • Support contract preparation activities.
  • Assist with member onboarding and offboarding.
  • Support ongoing proposals and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a Health Information Sciences Co-op Accredited program.
  • Strong desire to learn about business operations.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Consulting and data analysis skills.
  • Business and financial background with experience in financial modelling.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel including Macros/Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word).

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy
