Roles & Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • User Assistance: Provide support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution of IT-related problems.
  • System Maintenance: Help maintain and update IT systems, including installing software updates and patches.
  • Documentation: Document IT processes, procedures, and solutions to common issues.
  • Training: Assist in training end-users on new technologies and IT best practices.
  • Inventory Management: Help manage IT inventory, including tracking hardware and software assets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS), Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT tools.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Expected compensation for this role is a starting pay range between $21-24/hour dependent on education level, skills and experience. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support and develop valuable skills for a future career in information technology.
