Are you really excited about how electricity demand growth is impacting the grid in North America, and how capital is being allocated to facilitate the transition to a lower carbon grid? If any of this sound appealing, this internship may be for you!DNV - Energy Systems is seeking an M&A Services Intern to join its M&A Services North America team. This team specializes in providing technical due diligence and analysis to support investments in energy generation infrastructure in the USA and Canada. This role is based at our DNV office in Toronto (ON) or Calgary (AB) presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend five (5) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.What You'll DoWorking in a diverse, multi-disciplinary, collaborative team spanning the US and CanadaSupporting infrastructure investors by reviewing their projectsOrganizing customer provided data sets to support reporting and analysisReviewing confidential technical documents and contracts to extract meaningful insights for internal and external analysis and presentationsReviewing financial models of energy and infrastructure projects Evaluating energy project performance data for alignment with contractual requirements and industry expectationsSupporting production work, including, but not limited to: report writing, customer data entry into CRM systems, data room managementContributing to the development of tools and processes to continuously improve quality and value of delivery Overall, we foster a learning-by-doing atmosphere.
