Location - Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 2 days per week) - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Opportunity to develop the end-to-end (E2E) conversion of Informatica code to Databricks.
  • Utilize the EDH tool for data handling and management during the migration process.
  • Ensure smooth and high-quality code migration, aligning the conversion process with the organization's technical standards and business needs.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that the converted code meets all performance, scalability, and functional standards before it is handed over to the Application Development (AD) team.
  • Own the quality assurance process, identifying and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the code migration.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

  • Databricks, Pyspark, Python
  • Any Cloud Services, MSSQL and/or Oracle, Informatica (nice to have)
  • Strong Communication, Financial Domain understanding, ETL/ELT programming
  • 2-3+ years of experience
  • CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000–$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
