POSITION SUMMARY
As the successful candidate you will act as the important contact for internal and external work colleagues and suppliers managing day to day office needs to ensure maximum efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detailed orientated, and able to prioritize tasks on a daily basis. Reliable, tech-savvy and personable this position will support the backbone of our daily office operations providing essential support to our management Team.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
This role requires a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English with the ability to handle daily interactions with professionals, clients and suppliers. Multilingualism, proficiency in French, Cantonese or Mandarin is a significant asset though not a requirement.
LOCATION
As an office, full-time position, attendance and punctuality are key. For this reason the successful candidate should have a reasonable commute between home and our Markham office.
BUSINESS LOGISTICS
Management of product inventory, relationships with suppliers, accounts payable, data entry, invoicing and more.
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma with a college diploma or certificate in office administration, business administration or experience in this related field. A junior accountant with some business experience could be a candidate.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Accpac/ERP, CRM systems.
The candidate must show a proven work history of stability as this position requires extensive training on our products and our search goal is long term employment.
Candidates with these credentials having 1-4 years of related work experience will be given serious consideration.
