Junior Accountant

Baka Pozd Business Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Toronto. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about numbers, accuracy, and financial organization, and who are eager to build their accounting career in a professional consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare and record journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Support payroll processing and expense tracking.
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial data collection.
• Assist during audits by preparing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates with strong academic background may apply).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
