We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our construction finance team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Assist with bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting
• Support payroll, invoicing, and billing processes
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, spreadsheets, and reports
• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and administration teams
• Assist with audits and internal controls

What You Bring

• Proven experience or internships in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), QuickBooks, or other accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction finance environment
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Familiarity with construction accounting or construction financial operations
• CPA coursework
