What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Accountant, you will play an active role in supporting the accounting team and contributing to the organization’s financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and grow within a collaborative environment.
You will be encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and continuously improve processes. We’re looking for someone driven, detail-oriented, and excited to build a strong foundation in accounting.
- Responsible for bank reconciliations
- Responsible for various clearing account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly working papers, management reporting packages and financial statements
- Analyze variances between budget and actual
- Support operations by improving business processes and providing financial information to various departments, as required
- Assist the accounting team where needed on special projects
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, and motivated individual with a degree in Accounting or Finance who is eager to begin their career in an entry-level role. This position is designed for those starting out in the field, and no prior work experience is required. Co-op placements, internships, or relevant coursework are considered an asset but are not mandatory.
Our ‘Must Haves’:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
