Junior Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: process invoices, issue payments and handle any inquiries
• Accounts Receivable: process daily sales invoices/credit memos, record customer payments, handle any inquiries from customers and sales staff
• Process monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of month end reports
• Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
• Assist with month-end/year-end closing and reporting
• Maintain organized filing systems

Experience

• Prior experience or familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and account reconciliation techniques
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in handling financial data
• Highly organized and detailed oriented: able to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• College level education
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
