Junior Accountant

Location: Aurora, ON - On-Site

This is an ideal role for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple functions while working alongside a supportive and experienced team.

What You’ll Own

  • Provide day-to-day support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order Administration, and Inventory/Purchasing
  • Manage trade allowance accruals and reconciliations
  • Review and process customer compliance fines and deductions
  • Support asset depreciation and related reconciliations
  • Assist with inventory reviews, journal entries, and month-end close activities
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support financial reporting processes

Additional Exposure & Projects

  • Maintain and support data management, including BOM setup, pricing updates, and new item/customer/vendor creation
  • Assist with Power BI reporting and KPI development
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Support year-end processes and SR&ED initiatives
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects alongside senior accounting team members

Who You Are

  • 0–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Enrolled or planning to enroll in the CPA program (considered an asset)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • A collaborative team player with a strong willingness to learn and grow

Compensation

Salary: $60,000 – $85,000
