Full Description
Korecki Real Estate Services, a rapidly expanding Property Management company, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Accounting Administrator - Accounts Payable staff member to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and takes ownership of their work while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Duties include:
- Manage a high-volume Accounts Payable email inbox, including reviewing, coding, and data entry on a high volume of incoming invoices, and responding to vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
- Respond to phone inquiries from vendors and trades regarding invoice and payment status, including cheque release.
- Set up and maintain vendor accounts, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Sort cheques and prepare them for distribution by mail.
- File and maintain the weekly cheque run reports in an organized manner.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of Administrative experience. An accounting designation would be an asset, but not required.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional manner
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
