KGO Group is looking for a driven, detail-driven and technically inclined Junior Applications & Inside Sales Engineer/Technologist who wants more than a routine desk role.

This position is designed for someone early in their career who wants to develop into a senior Applications Engineer or Outside Technical Sales leader within 2–3 years.

You will work directly on engineered chemical feed, polymer preparation, pump, tank, and mixing systems serving mining, pulp & paper, municipal, and heavy industrial clients across Canada.

Core Responsibilities

Technical Proposal Development

• Review engineering specifications, P&IDs, and bid packages
• Size and select pumps, tanks, mixers, and chemical feed systems
• Develop system concepts and preliminary layouts
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive quotations
• Ensure designs align with fabrication capabilities and project budgets

You will not simply assemble quotes — you will learn to engineer solutions.

Inside Sales Performance

• Actively support quotation follow-ups and order conversion
• Communicate directly with consulting engineers and end users
• Track opportunities in CRM and manage your proposal pipeline
• Assist in building long-term client relationships

Supplier & Technical Coordination

• Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers
• Evaluate technical suitability of components
• Maintain cost discipline and margin awareness

Cross-Functional Impact

• Work daily with Mechanical, Electrical, and Fabrication teams
• Participate in design reviews
• Support seamless handoff from sales to production
• Learn how engineered systems are built and commissioned

You will gain hands-on exposure to real equipment — not just drawings.

Who Will Succeed Here

• Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Technologist (Diploma or Degree)
• 1–3 years of relevant industrial or technical experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commercial awareness
• Comfortable speaking with engineers and plant personnel
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and performance-driven
• Interested in growing into Technical Sales leadership

This is not a passive support role. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
