Full Description
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with a desire to excel and a willingness to learn. Part time to start leading to full time. Come work for an award winning company based on honesty and integrity. Handling of multiple client accounts with the following duties is required:
- Maintain superior accounting records and client files using QuickBooks Online.
- Full payroll functions including, but not limited to, regular payroll runs, deductions, garnishments, terminations, processing of Records of Employment.
- Month and year end entries and preparation of reports.
- Prepare and submit all government and WSIB remittances.
- Full cycle accounting including, but not limited to, posting of journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with external accountants regarding clients' bookkeeping and accounting.
- Administrative duties.
- Other duties as required.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 1 year bookkeeping and payroll experience with a public firm
- Proficiency in QBO
- Accounting diploma required
- Bookkeeping and/or payroll certification preferred
- Strong multi-tasking capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Above average attention to detail
- Skills test required

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
