Junior Bookkeeper / HR Administrator Assistant โ€“ AutoShack

Full-Time | Permanent
$23 โ€“ $25 per hour (based on experience)

AutoShack is a leading Canadian online automotive parts retailer with over 45 years of success serving customers across North America. We are growing and looking for a detail-oriented professional to support both our Finance and HR departments.

Role Overview

This dual-role position supports daily bookkeeping functions while assisting with HR administrative tasks. Ideal for someone organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Assist with payroll support and month-end close
  • Maintain accurate financial records

HR Support:

  • Maintain employee files and onboarding documents
  • Assist with payroll data and benefits administration
  • Track attendance and vacation records
  • Provide general HR administrative support

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • 1+ year of bookkeeping experience preferred
