Full Description

A leading British Columbia marine and adventure organization is seeking a Junior Content Creator to join their creative team. This is a hands-on role for someone energetic, fun, and collaborative who wants to bring stories of BC’s spectacular marine environments to life. You’ll work across digital platforms, producing engaging video and content that inspires people to explore the water while respecting the natural surroundings. Passion, integrity, and commitment guide the work of this organization. They build, manage, and invest in projects that enhance community access to BC’s waters while respecting the natural environment. From golfing on Haida Gwaii to tall ship cruises in the Gulf Islands, their offerings are designed to inspire adventure and connection. As a Junior Content Creator, you’ll play a direct role in shaping how these experiences are shared with the world.

Description

  • Create high-quality video content, photography, and digital assets for campaigns, social media, and website
  • Take ownership of the social media calendar, ensuring consistent, engaging content across platforms
  • Launch and manage YouTube content, growing audience engagement and reach
  • Assist with creative design and campaign ideation
  • Travel to properties and events to capture authentic, compelling content
  • Support light social media management tasks, including scheduling and reporting
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure brand messaging aligns with community values and experiences

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating content creation and videography skills
  • Comfortable with video editing and creative design tools
  • Previous experience in a digital agency or marketing environment preferred
  • Clear communicator, creative thinker, and strong collaborator
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about storytelling and community engagement
  • Open to travel and hands-on content creation
