About the Role
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Junior Corporate Accountant supports the Corporate Finance team in day to day accounting and financial reporting processes. The role ensures timely and accurate processing of transactions while assisting with monthly and quarter close activities. This entry-level position suited for a for a recent graduate working towards their professional CPA designation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Process monthly corporate credit card expenses and reconcile credit card statements.
- Follow up with internal departments to obtain and validate purchase orders and supporting documentation.
- Process accounts payable invoices and prepare vendor payments in a timely manner.
- Assist with daily bank reconciliations and monthly account reconciliations and journals.
- Support preparation of monthly financial reports, financial statements and working papers.
- Ensure documentation is complete and audit ready.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Currently pursuing the professional CPA designation
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or co-op experience preferred)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling a plus
- Familiarity with financial statements and basic corporate finance concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Predictive Index Assessments
