Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator / Project Manager Assistant to support our restoration team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in construction, restoration, or project management. You will work closely with experienced estimators and project managers, assisting with job documentation, estimating, coordination, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing estimates using industry software (e.g., Xactimate)
- Support project managers with scheduling, job tracking, and coordination
- Conduct site visits for measurements, photos, and documentation
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members
- Help maintain accurate job files, reports, and project updates
- Track materials, labor, and job costs
- Ensure projects are progressing on time and within scope
- Assist with insurance documentation and claims processes
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in construction, restoration, or estimating is an asset
- Experience with Xactimate is considered a strong asset
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
