Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marketing, digital media, and brand development who is looking to build hands-on experience in a professional environment.
The successful candidate will support a variety of marketing initiatives, help manage digital platforms, and assist with campaigns designed to increase brand awareness and engagement. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in digital marketing, social media management, SEO, and marketing analytics while working within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies across multiple channels including social media, email marketing, and B2B campaigns.
- Manage company social media accounts by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement metrics.
- Support SEO optimisation efforts through keyword research and updating website content using WordPress.
- Assist with the management and monitoring of Google Ads campaigns and analyse performance using Google Analytics.
- Prepare marketing materials such as presentations, reports, and newsletters using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Coordinate with external agencies or vendors on projects related to digital advertising and content creation.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for brand growth.
- Support the planning and organisation of B2B events or webinars, assisting with logistics, promotion, and follow-up activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience, internships, or coursework in marketing, digital media, communications, or a related field is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and project management software is beneficial.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, Google Ads, and Google Analytics is highly desirable.
- Experience with WordPress and Adobe Photoshop is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and performance metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content for different audiences.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
