Location: Remote (Toronto-based candidates preferred)
Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Compensation: $18 per hour
Role Overview
Markage is hiring a Junior Marketing Coordinator to support website updates, content preparation, and marketing task coordination.
This is an entry-level role with structured training. You will learn our systems and standards while supporting both internal projects and client work.
You do not need to arrive as a specialist. You need to be coachable, steady, and ready to grow.
What You Will DoMarketing Coordination
- Maintain organized task lists with clear updates.
- Turn rough notes into structured checklists.
- Help move work from draft to approval to publish.
Website Support
- Make guided updates in Shopify and WordPress.
- Apply consistent formatting across desktop and mobile.
- Flag issues clearly when something needs review.
Email and Content Preparation
- Format email campaigns using templates.
- Prepare simple landing page content.
- Resize and format images for social and web.
- Schedule approved content.
Marketing Tech Assistance
- Support form setup, booking links, and simple integrations.
- Keep files organized and structured.
- Follow documented processes.
Communication Support
- Join internal or client calls when needed.
- Take clear notes.
- Communicate professionally in writing.
- Apply feedback constructively.
Required Skills
- Strong written English (clear, professional, concise).
- Comfortable learning digital tools quickly.
- Basic familiarity with Shopify or WordPress (or strong willingness to learn).
- Basic design awareness (clean spacing, readable layouts, attention to detail).
- Ability to manage multiple small tasks while staying organized.
Preferred
- Canva or Figma experience.
- Exposure to email platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
- Basic image editing skills (Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Interest in practical AI tools to support workflow (with human review).

Compensation & Work Structure
- $18 per hour.
