Junior Mechanical Engineer – Precision Cutting Tools

We’re looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer (2–5 years experience preferred) who wants to design real-world solutions, not just parts on a screen.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom precision cutting tools using SolidWorks
• Interpret and work from complex blueprints and technical drawings
• Collaborate with senior engineers and production to refine designs for manufacturability
• Support tooling improvements, revisions, and custom solutions
• Communicate clearly with internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Contribute ideas that improve performance, quality, and lead times

Skills

• 2–5 years of mechanical design experience (tooling or manufacturing preferred)
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
• Ability to confidently read and interpret blueprints
• Solid understanding of machining principles and manufacturing processes
• Hands-on experience in a machine shop, CNC machining, or any type of machining environment is a strong asset
• Detail-oriented mindset you care about precision
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mentality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
