The Opportunity

Are you early in your Project Management career and looking for a place where you can actually grow? We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join a premier IT services organization with a 50-year legacy of excellence.

This is not just an administrative role; it is a "launchpad" position. You will work side-by-side with Senior Project Managers and technical teams to plan, coordinate, and execute diverse IT projects. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and obsessed with organized delivery, we want to help you build your career here.

Why Join Us?

  • Professional Growth: We prioritize your development through training, certifications (PMP/CAPM), and hands-on skill-building.
  • Legacy & Reputation: Work for a trusted industry leader with a deep-rooted history in the IT sector.
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a supportive team culture with a healthy 40-hour work week (Monday–Friday) and flexible hours.
  • Diverse Challenges: No two days are the same—you’ll solve unique technical challenges for a wide range of clients.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Project Coordination: Support the full project lifecycle, from kickoff to wrap-up, ensuring schedules and timelines stay on track.
  • Liaison & Communication: Act as the central point of contact for internal technical teams and clients, providing regular status updates and managing project documentation.
  • Tracking & Delivery: Monitor tasks and deliverables to ensure they align with the project scope.
  • Cross-Team Integration: Coordinate efforts between the Service Desk and Technical teams to maintain project momentum.
  • Continuous Improvement: Document lessons learned and help us refine our templates and best practices.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience supporting technical or operational projects.
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Business, Project Management, or Computer Science.
  • Certification: Ideally, you hold a CAPM or PMP (or are currently completing related coursework/Agile fundamentals).
  • Technical Familiarity: You are proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word). Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, or access control/CCTV systems is a major asset.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills with a "customer-first" mindset.
  • Organization: You have a systematic approach to time management and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Key Success Metrics

  • Timely maintenance of project plans and documentation.
  • Clear and consistent communication that keeps stakeholders informed.
  • Successful tracking of project milestones and solution design requests.
  • Positive feedback from internal teams regarding your coordination efforts.
