Junior Quality Control Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Quality Control Technician to support our Quality Control operations. This role is primarily field-based and involves collecting samples of concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials from active job sites, as well as assisting with testing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect field samples of concrete, asphalt, and aggregates from job sites across the GTA
- Perform basic on-site testing including slump, air, temperature, and density testing
- Transport samples to the lab for further testing and analysis
- Accurately record test results and maintain proper documentation
- Assist the QC Manager with inspections and quality assurance processes
- Ensure all testing is conducted in accordance with applicable standards and specifications
- Maintain and clean testing equipment
- Support other QC-related tasks as required
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or a related field is an asset
- Previous construction or field experience is an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid G driver’s license is required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and extended shifts during peak season
