Junior Quality Engineer (Temporary)

Kobay Enstel Ltd., an automotive manufacturing company specializing in stamping and welding, is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer (Temporary) to support plant-floor quality activities and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards.

This role supports quality assurance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within a stamping and welding production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support quality assurance activities in a stamping and welding environment
• Monitor production processes and perform in-process and final inspections
• Assist with APQP, PPAP submissions, and control plan updates
• Participate in root cause analysis using 8D and 5 Why methodologies
• Support FMEA and SPC activities
• Conduct layered process audits and internal audits
• Investigate internal and customer quality concerns
• Support corrective and preventive action implementation
• Maintain quality documentation and reports

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing
• Experience in stamping and welding operations required
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949 standards
• Basic understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and SPC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)

Pay: $43,909.31-$52,000.00 per year
