Full Description

The Tuccaro Group of Companies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in recruitment and human resources while supporting a fast-paced and dynamic organization.

Position Overview

The Junior Recruiter will play a key role in supporting day-to-day recruitment and onboarding activities across the organization. Reporting to the HR Coordinator, this position will assist in coordinating the hiring process, onboarding new employees, and ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment activities, including:

  • Posting job advertisements

  • Screening resumes

  • Scheduling interviews

  • Conducting reference checks

  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding:

  • Prepare new hire packages

  • Collect required onboarding documents (e.g., certifications, driver’s abstracts, etc.)

  • Schedule orientations and training

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both electronic and physical filing systems

  • File, organize, and maintain confidential HR documentation in accordance with company standards

  • Support the HR department with day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks

  • Respond to candidate and employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner

  • Assist with recruitment tracking and reporting

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
  • Previous administrative or recruitment experience considered an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
