Job Title: Junior Sales Representative (Co-op)
Department: Sales
Reports To: Director of Sales
Location: Hamilton, ON
Term: Co-op Placement April 1 – August 31
Shift: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Wage: $24/hr
Position Summary
The Junior Sales Representative (Co-op) supports the sales team by managing inbound and outbound lead activity, qualifying prospects, and ensuring timely follow-up. This role is designed to increase selling efficiency, improve speed-to-lead, enhance conversion rates, and reduce missed revenue opportunities by ensuring that sales representatives focus on high-value prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound leads from phone, email, website forms, and walk-ins
- Conduct outbound follow-up on marketing-generated leads
- Qualify prospects using established criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline, fit)
- Route qualified leads to appropriate sales representatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems
- Re-engage dormant or stale pipeline opportunities
- Track and report lead activity metrics and outcomes
- Support sales campaigns and promotional initiatives
- Assist with data entry, prospect research, and pipeline organization
Qualifications
· Currently enrolled in a Business, Marketing, Communications, or sales related program
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail
· Comfortable speaking with prospects via phone and email
· Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
· Familiarity with CRM tools is an asset but not required
Working Conditions
· Regular office setting
· Ability to operate the computer daily with repetitive tasks
· Ability to sit for long periods of time
· Some light physical work, supporting merchandizing and displays with the sales team.

Job Type: Part- time
Schedule: Day shift
