Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, for a Junior Software Engineer (New Grad). The Junior Software Engineer will be responsible for assisting in software development projects, collaborating with the team to develop back-end web applications, and implementing new features using object-oriented programming. The role involves writing efficient code, debugging software, and contributing to system design and architecture for scalable and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles
• Experience in Back-End Web Development and building server-side applications
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of modern development tools, frameworks, and version control systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and Agile methodologies is a plus
