JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Web Developer is responsible for design of e-mail broadcasts and will also assist with the design, redesign, and maintenance of websites for Kenilworth Media Inc. and our many B2B media brands. Position reports to the Web Development Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Design, build, and coordinate changes with other departments to our e-mail broadcasts sent to our readers - both templated and custom built from scratch.

Update and maintain email templates.

Update and maintain websites.

Design and develop websites as required.

Work with all departments to oversee the update of website content online, ensuring all content is correct and up to date.

Create new designs where called for. Enforce content formatting, image treatment, and design consistency.

Carry out tasks assigned by manager.

Complete small projects as assigned.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
1. Strong programming skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL.

Knowledge of WordPress and Photoshop an asset.

Good visual design skills, creativity and ideas.
GENERAL/ BUSINESS SKILLS
1. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both verbal and written) and to function in a professional and polite manner in dealing with clientele, staff and suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Post secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science (or related field). Related work experience an asset.
