Who This Role Is For

We’re looking for a Junior Web Developer who is early in their career and eager to grow within a collaborative, design-driven environment.

You understand that great digital experiences are built through both thoughtful design and solid development.

This is a hybrid role based in Winnipeg. We value in-person collaboration – but we also respect autonomy and focus time.

What You’ll Do

• Develop both static and dynamic websites, using chosen technologies and platforms specified by Relish
• Provide web support to clients as required
• Interface with clients to support and provide instruction as needed
• Develop website templates using the tools provided by Relish
• Engage with team members on web and interactive projects
• Offer creative ideas and solutions to complex web-related problems
• Troubleshoot web-related issues and bugs upon request

What You Bring

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in a web development role (or equivalent education/projects)
• Diploma, degree, or relevant training in web development, interactive media, or a similar field

Core Strengths

• 1-3 years in a similar position
• Website Project Management Experience
• Understanding of relational databases, web hosting services, domain management knowledge, an asset
• CMS development experience (WordPress or equivalent)
• Web application development experience is an asset

Assets

• Experience with additional CMS platforms
• Basic understanding of web hosting, domains, and deployment
• Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git)
• Interest in UX/UI or digital product design

• HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript
• WordPress (or similar CMS)
• Figma or Adobe XD
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
