Full Description
Hi Potential Co-Worker,
My name is Arry. I’m the Head of Growth and Marketing at AdmissionPrep.
In an age when AI can generate 100 answers in seconds, families are more overwhelmed than ever about planning for the future. Every school, forum, and influencer has a different opinion on what a student should focus on to have a bright future. Deadlines blur together. Career advice conflicts. And the stakes feel high, because one missed step can quietly close a door for a child’s future.
AdmissionPrep exists to replace stress and conflicting advice with strategy and clear next steps, so students can keep options open and build a path to the future career they want through personalized 1-on-1 support.
As a Marketing Coordinator Intern, you’ll help run the day-to-day execution across content, community marketing, and growth. You’ll keep our marketing calendar organized, turn existing assets into output, and help our community events fill consistently. We host over 1,500 families a month across online and in-person events.
The details
- Role: Marketing Coordinator Intern (Content + Community Growth)
- Term: April to August (Summer Internship)
- Compensation: $21/hour
- Hours: Part-time to start (10–20 hours/week)

What you’ll own
- Content calendar management
- Maintain and run a content calendar based on assets already available. Coordinate what gets posted, when, and why.

- Support off-page SEO and backlink opportunities with community partnerships and engagement. This includes outreach, tracking, and ensuring collaborations turn into measurable SEO value.
- Event landing pages & information
- Build and update landing pages for our regular community events, online and in-person. Write clear copy, keep pages current, and improve conversion.
- Marketing creation for events
- Produce the materials that get families to show up. Social posts, simple graphics, short captions, and basic email or SMS drafts when needed.
- Be on camera
- The ideal person for this role is comfortable on camera. We run one of the most followed Canadian admissions accounts, and we publish hundreds of free content pieces for families.
- Love using AI to increase your own output
- Use AI tools for drafts, repurposing, research, and iteration so we can move faster without sacrificing quality.
What “good” looks like
