Job Title: Outdoor Mosquito Control Technician (Perfect Summer Student Job!)

Pay: $30.00 / hour + Bonus & Commission

About the Role: Looking for the ultimate summer student job? Ditch the retail or desk job and spend your summer working outside! We’re hiring an independent and energetic Mosquito Exterminator to join our team. If you're a college or university student tired of being micromanaged and want a summer job where you can hit the road, manage your own time, and make serious cash before the fall semester, this is for you.

Starting May 1st (perfect timing for the end of exams!), you’ll be the hero of the backyard, helping our residential customers enjoy a mosquito-free season. You’ll be working independently, cruising between properties, and operating our gas sprayers. It’s a physical, fast-paced role perfect for a self-starter who likes to stay active over the break.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Being the Boss of Your Day: Working on the road with very little direct supervision. Put on a podcast or your summer playlist and get to work!
  • Client Interaction: Chatting with homeowners and providing awesome customer service.
  • The Heavy Lifting: Operating a gas-powered sprayer to apply residential pesticide treatments.
  • Cruising: Driving safely between daily job sites.

What You Need to Bring:

  • The Right Paperwork: You must have an Ontario Pesticide Licence (either “Technician” or “Mosquito/Biting Flies”). This can be obtained after the interview.
  • A Valid Driver's Licence: To get from property to property.
  • A Great Attitude: You need to be reliable, accountable, and able to manage your own schedule without someone looking over your shoulder.
