Part-time Junior Accounts Payable

Parkscape Ltd. is a landscaping company based in the Toronto Area, specializing in creating elegant and functional outdoor spaces for both residential and commercial clients. The company offers diverse services, including patios, masonry, water features, softscapes, and fences, tailored to meet customer expectations.

We're seeking a detail-oriented and reliable  part-time Junior Accounts Payable (AP) professional to join our finance team. In this role, you will support invoice processing, assist with vendor communications, and help ensure all outgoing payments are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Review, verify, and accurately enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks
• Prepare and process payments according to set schedules
• Assist with vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies
• Support vendor communications and maintain accurate records
• Assist with month-end tasks, including generating reports and organizing documentation
• Provide support for audits and internal reviews as needed
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience  in Accounts Payable, accounting, or related roles
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) is preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
