About the Role
As a Junior Pre-Sales Consultant , you will play a key role in bridging business needs and software solutions.
You will begin by supporting QA and product validation efforts to build a strong understanding of the platform, workflows, and client use cases. Over time, you will transition into a client-facing pre-sales role — helping demonstrate value, support sales efforts, and shape how our product is positioned in the market.
This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and business curiosity, particularly within the energy trading space.
Key Responsibilities
- Support QA and product validation to build a deep understanding of system workflows
- Assist in preparing and delivering product demos and presentations
- Translate business requirements into clear solution narratives
- Work closely with sales, product, and development teams to support client opportunities
- Participate in client discovery sessions to understand business challenges
- Help develop pre-sales materials (demo scripts, presentations, use cases)
- Continuously learn and develop expertise in ETRM processes and market dynamics
- Contribute to improving how we position and communicate our product
First-Year Goals
- Develop a strong understanding of the platform and core ETRM workflows
- Transition from QA support into active participation in client demos
- Independently support pre-sales activities with guidance
- Build confidence in articulating business value over technical features
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in a client facing position within consulting, business analysis, sales support, or a related role
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and articulate business processes clearly
- Curiosity and willingness to learn the energy trading domain
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
Preferred
- Exposure to ETRM, energy trading, or commodity markets
- Experience working with enterprise software (ERP, ETRM, or similar)
- Experience supporting sales, demos, or client-facing activities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to ask strong business questions
