Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Sales Associate to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for engaging with local businesses to understand their needs and offer CFIB membership benefits. Daily tasks include prospecting and meeting potential members, conducting sales presentations, and providing ongoing support and information to existing members. The role also involves building strong, long-term relationships within the business community to drive membership growth and retention.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in sales, client relationship management, and effective negotiation
  • Strong communication abilities, including verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience in using CRM tools or managing sales pipelines is an asset
  • Ability to work independently while meeting performance goals
  • Flexible and adaptive to evolving business needs and diverse environments
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or account management is preferred
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business or a related field is an asset
