Part-Time ยท Student Position (~20 hours/month ยท Remote)
Healthy Minds Psychotherapy is a trauma-informed, diversity-affirming psychotherapy clinic based in Ontario. We are seeking a proactive, creative Digital Communications & Social Media Coordinator to help strengthen our online presence and make mental health content more accessible across Ontario.
This is a part-time student position and an excellent opportunity for someone studying marketing, social work, psychology, therapy, or a related field who wants hands-on experience understanding how a psychotherapy clinic operates. The role blends clinical insight with digital communications, allowing you to apply your mental health knowledge in an ethical and meaningful way.
What Youโll Do
โ Plan, create, and publish content for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn โ 3 posts per week minimum.
โ Support basic monthly Google Business Profile updates (posts, hours, services). โ Update and maintain our Squarespace website (page edits, images, content refreshes). โ Assist with blog publishing, including formatting, uploads, light editing, tags, and SEO best practices (blogs written by team).
โ Plan, design, and send monthly newsletters using approved tools and templates. โ Monitor and engage with comments and messages where appropriate (with guidance). โ Maintain an organized content calendar and digital asset library.
โ Collect and document analytics; create a monthly performance report with insights and quick recommendations.
โ Attend virtual check-in meetings and collaborate closely with the Founder/Clinical Director and Office Manager to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and brand alignment.
Youโll Thrive in This Role If Youโฆ
โ Are currently studying (or have recently graduated with) marketing, psychology, social work, therapy, or a related field.
โ Have a strong interest in mental health advocacy and using digital platforms to reduce stigma and promote well-being.
โ Bring creativity and social awareness โ you keep up with trends and translate them respectfully and ethically for a mental health audience.
โ Are eager to gain exposure to the inner workings of a psychotherapy clinic and excited to collaborate with the Clinical Director on content development, learning how clinical services are structured, communicated, and delivered within ethical and regulatory standards.
โ Have experience with:
โ Squarespace (website edits)
โ Canva/CapCut (content design and short-form video editing)
โ Mailchimp or similar newsletter tools
โ Basic SEO and Google tools (Analytics/Search Console)
โ Write clean, empathetic copy and understand boundaries when discussing mental health online.
โ Demonstrate strong organization and accountability with deadlines and approvals. โ Understand that all content created belongs to the clinic and must align with Canadian regulations and professional standards.
