Description

The anticipated start date for the role is May 2026, with an expected 4 or 8 month term. However, a variety of start dates and durations for this role are possible. Feel free to indicate your availability on your application. The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $26.00 per hour.

Key Job Elements

Manage purchase order activities, including:

  • Piece part quoting
  • Managing purchase requisitions
  • Placing purchase orders
  • Expediting parts
  • Cancelling and rescheduling purchase orders
  • Resolving invoice issues
  • Managing deliveries

Interface with the Engineering professionals to manage technical data changes and other information requests
Interface with Supply Chain Management (SCM) Compliance and Logistics professionals to assist in parts deliveries
Interface with SCM Project Management professionals to provide delivery status, including risk assessments
Interface with SCM leadership, as a participant in process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in 2nd year of Business-Logistics and Supply Chain Management Co-op program or pending graduation from Supply Chain Management post-graduate program
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
  • High level of organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Process and results oriented
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US/Int’l) and possess / be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport

Preferred Qualifications

  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience, ORACLE preferred
  • Functional planning and scheduling knowledge
  • Advanced problem solving and decision making skills
