Summer Student - Inside Sales Associate Position Overview

Seasonal position providing customer service and sales support in our retail office. Ideal for students interested in business, sales, or construction materials.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service

  • Process customer transactions and payments
  • Answer phone calls professionally
  • Assist customers with product selection, inside and outside
  • Calculate material quantities
  • Handle cash/ change and credit transactions
  • Maintain & clean organized workspace

Product Knowledge

  • Learn extensive interlocking product catalogs
  • Understand basic landscaping principles
  • Calculate material requirements
  • Price products accurately
  • Keep displays current
  • Assist with inventory counts

Administrative

  • Process deliveries and orders
  • Maintain accurate records
  • File documentation properly
  • Update product pricing
  • Support office organization
  • Assist with stock counts

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled or graduated from post-secondary education

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
