Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Trainee to join our dynamic financial services team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in accounting, tax preparation, and financial analysis within a professional environment. Duties
- Assist with preparing and reviewing tax documents and returns under supervision
- Support the team in conducting account reconciliations and audits
- Utilize accounting software QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for clients
- Participate in data entry, document organization, and filing related to tax and accounting projects
- Collaborate with senior team members on special projects related to investment analysis and account management
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial services industry practices
- Experience or familiarity with accounting software QuickBooks.
- Strong analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Eagerness to learn about tax regulations, investment strategies, and financial analysis techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Prior coursework or experience in accounting or finance is a plus
