Tax Analyst Trainee

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Trainee to join our dynamic financial services team. Duties

• Assist with preparing and reviewing tax documents and returns under supervision
• Support the team in conducting account reconciliations and audits
• Utilize accounting software QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for clients
• Participate in data entry, document organization, and filing related to tax and accounting projects
• Collaborate with senior team members on special projects related to investment analysis and account management

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial services industry practices
• Experience or familiarity with accounting software QuickBooks.
• Strong analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Eagerness to learn about tax regulations, investment strategies, and financial analysis techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Prior coursework or experience in accounting or finance is a plus
