Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Web Engineer Intern based in Vancouver, BC, with flexibility for some work from home. The intern will assist in creating, improving, and maintaining GenPark's web applications. Responsibilities include front-end and back-end web development tasks, software debugging, coding, and participating in the development of user-friendly, scalable solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for innovative projects will be an integral part of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Development
• Experience with Back-End Web Development and building dynamic Web Applications
• Familiarity with Software Development principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of AI technologies or interest in online commerce platforms is a plus
