About the Role
GHY is growing, and so is our Accounting team. We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Billing Associate to support our evolving billing and accounting operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with high volumes of data, takes pride in accuracy, and is interested in contributing to a team that is actively improving how work gets done. As we continue to scale, we are focused on streamlining processes, increasing consistency, and introducing automation where it makes sense—and this role will play an important part in that journey.

What You’ll Do
Billing & Client Support

  • Issue invoices for U.S. and Canadian entries
  • Process invoices for corrections and miscellaneous batches
  • Run unbilled reports daily and follow up as required
  • Ensure invoices are published and delivered to clients in a timely manner
  • Prepare and distribute daily and monthly billing statements
  • Respond to client inquiries related to billing and statements

Process Improvement & Team Support

  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to streamline and improve billing processes
  • Identify inefficiencies or repetitive tasks and suggest improvements
  • Support documentation and updates to billing procedures and training materials
  • Help maintain accurate billing notes and client communication records

Administrative & Accounting Support

  • Prepare invoices and entries for scanning when required
  • Assist with Accounts Payable tasks, including verifying and posting expenses
  • Maintain client email distribution lists and billing records
  • Provide cross-functional and reception coverage as needed
  • Support the Accounting team with additional tasks as required

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or an administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with ITMR4 is an asset

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration and/or Accounting
