AI Engineer

At Achilles Analytics , we ingest open-source data and run it through a multi-model AI pipeline to extract semantic embeddings, identify narrative clusters, and surface emerging geopolitical risk signals.

We’re looking for someone with a background in computer science, data science, or applied machine learning who is curious about geopolitics, comfortable with startup ambiguity, and biased toward action.

We are looking for inters only, Students are welcome!

Nice to have:

1. Conceptual fluency with embeddings

You understand what SBERT does, why cosine similarity matters, and what a vector index is for. You won’t need to implement everything from scratch, but you should understand the concepts.

2. NLP pipeline intuition

Chunking, embedding, storing, querying, you understand the end-to-end flow.

3. AI coding tools

Claude Code is mandatory. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should use AI coding tools and understand their limits: hallucinations, context drift, and blind spots.

4. Systems thinking

You can hold the big picture, help shape it, and still maintain attention to detail.

Track 01 — AI Pipeline

Multi-model intelligence extraction, classification, and clustering.

Track 02 — Data & Analysis

Real-time geopolitical data, analytical features, and source expansion.

Track 03 — Product & Frontend

Platform features, dashboards, and user-facing interfaces.

Track 04 — Research

New data sources, AI model testing, and predictive capabilities.
