Job Summary SSMIC is seeking a motivated Business Research Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship presents an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in a fast-paced and supportive environment. The Intern will work closely with all teams to assist with research, community engagement, and CRM maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on regional businesses, sector trends, and funding opportunities to support business development outreach, program intake, and client engagement activities.
• Research emerging technologies including AI to implement into internal client and partnership workflows.
• Assist in researching, identifying, coordinating, and attending opportunities for organizational visibility within the local business community, including partnerships, sponsorships, award programs, and regional initiatives.
• Support the maintenance and updating of contact records, program participant data, and outreach tracking within the organization's CRM and internal tools to ensure accuracy and reporting readiness.
• Assist in with client and community engagements including digital content, and client highlights.

Required Skills

• A university degree or college diploma in business, information technology, or related field.
• Aptitude for accurate, highly detailed and analytical skills.
• Strong research skills.
• Ability to utilize the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Superior customer service skills, and professional attitude.
• Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills.
• Reliable, independent, and able to work flexible hours with minimal supervision or direction
